ON MY FIRST SON: Jonson’s reason about not loving again I think is understadable after what happened to him. His son died, and he loved him so much that he is affraid to love someone again and fail again because the person would go some day. I think this is extremely, I have never been in his position but I think he needs to open his heart again to persons and led love to peolple.
After his son death, I believe and what he wrotes, it is very hard to stand up again but every person in life has ups and downs that give you lessons and give you more strngth to stand up every time, that shouldn’t led you down beacuse that would be the first problem to many other problems. Love is a feeling that is you need to survive and be happy, love is a feeling that you feel for the persons in your family and the persons that care about you the most.
In the poem it seems and what Jonson’s writes show the feelings that he have, he is very affraid to love again and he decides not to love some one else agian, and demosntrates and shows how hurt he is about his son’s death. It shows that Jonson’s feelings for his son were very strong and that he is very hurtful. I think the effect that he would have if he decide not to love some one else again, would be that he owul be miserable and sad all the time beacuse love is happiness.
TO CELIA: “The thirst that from the soul doth rise”
Every human being has basic needs like: water, food, energy, shelter, etc. In this case we can easly comprehend that love is the water that our souls need, love nourishes us and helps us become better and grow. Love is a part of every human being’s life, everyone has a person that shows and gives us love and that plants that seed within each of us. Since we are born we know love from our family and our parents, and every day we have new loves and new seeds inside of us.
Johnson gives us a chance to learn by this cute little metaphor who great and important love is for the sanity and the maintanence of our souls good state. I personally think that love helps us be sane and be balances in our entire life. Every person that has not recieved love or that thinks he or she hasnt is probably wrong because no one would function without love in the world.
Johnson is definetly a romantic and loving man, and I think that he illustates this on the definition in Celia that he gives f love. “Love as the soul’s thirst”, and this is true I can relate to what he is saying and trying to communicate with us, love is the one thing that a sould needs to survive and o grow and be better every day.
Love is water for the heart. Is everything for happiness!!!
